they're connected by a free inter-terminal shuttle that runs frequently and takes only a

Departing: Your driver takes you to the drop-off area for your terminal specifically, helps unload your luggage, and you walk straight into check-in. No shuttle, no detour, no second guessing.

If your airline changes terminal: It does happen. We'll pick it up through flight tracking and adjust before the day. And if you land at the wrong terminal for your onward plans, the shuttle is free and quick but with a pre-booked transfer, it rarely comes up.

How Long Does a Taxi From London to Gatwick Take?
Gatwick sits roughly 28 to 30 miles south of central London, just outside Crawley in West Sussex. The route is usually the A23 down to the M23, which drops you almost directly at the terminals. In light traffic, central London to Gatwick takes around an hour. Realistically, allow 75 to 90 minutes if you're travelling between 7am and 10am or between 4pm and 7pm, when the southern approaches out of London slow considerably. Late-night and early-morning runs are usually the fastest of the day.

Best for one to three passengers with two large suitcases and hand luggage. The right choice for solo travellers, couples, and business trips with a carry-on.
Estate Car
Same passenger capacity as a saloon but noticeably more boot space. Worth the small upgrade if you're a couple travelling for two weeks, or anyone flying with sports equipment or a pushchair.
MPV (up to 6 passengers)
Families and small groups. Comfortable for a longer run down to Gatwick, with room for four to five cases.
8-Seater Minivan
